SSHOC has developed an inventory of teaching and train-the-trainer resources to be used by trainers in the Social Sciences and Humanities.

The training materials now available through the SSHOC Training Toolkit have been sourced from some 41 different training organisations and individual experts across Europe. They include slides, modules, videos, games and other items covering a range of topics from research data management, FAIR data, and Open Science to text encoding and quantitative analysis.

One example is the CESSDA Train-the-trainer package which focuses on Research Data Management. Another is a dataset from the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) which can be used in training students in quantitative analysis.

The SSHOC Training Toolkit is open to anyone interested in SSH training. Click here to browse the inventory of materials.

The SSHOC Training Toolkit will be further developed throughout the SSHOC project in collaboration with the SSHOC Training Community. In particular, SSHOC will be organising Train-the-Trainer bootcamps in which the Training Toolkit will be presented, and feedback sought on ways to improve and extend the current offering.

More information on SSHOC Training and our other activities is available on the SSHOC website
