Dataverse is a repository software developed by the Institute for Quantitative Social Science of Harvard University to enable researchers to archive and publish research data. It's supported by an active Dataverse Development Community with contributors around the world.

Currently, the User Interface (UI) is in English. Task 5.2 of the SSHOC project integrated the Weblate tool into the installation pipeline of Dataverse to translate the UI more easily. This procedure can be used by organisations who are interested to have a UI in their national language(s). On June 2nd and September 8th, workshops took place to explain the ins and outs of the tool, and participants shared their very first translation experiences in Weblate.

The next follow-up meeting will give the participants further opportunity to exchange translating experiences. Topics can include translating issues, the Weblate software, the content of the User Guide and future collaboration.
