WP7: Creating the SSH Open Marketplace

D7.1 System Specification - SSH Open Marketplace

The system specification report delivered by T7.1 describes the user requirements identified, the conceptual model of the SSH Open Marketplace and its relation to SSHOC reference ontology, as well as the overall system architecture with a description of key internal and external components and their dependencies.

D7.2 Marketplace – Implementation

This document delivers the results of Task 7.2 “Development of the Marketplace application” of the Social Sciences and Humanities Open Cloud (SSHOC) project funded by the European Commission under Grant Agreement #823782. Its main purpose is to describe the actual implementation of the SSH Open Marketplace application on the background of the system specification (delivered in 2019 as D7.1 System Specification - SSH Open Marketplace).

D7.3 Marketplace - Interoperability

The SSH Open Marketplace is one of the key exploitable results of the SSHOC project. It is designed to be a central information hub where researchers can go to find detailed information about software tools, relevant publications, datasets and workflows. Within the Marketplace contextualisation should be provided, linking, for example, publications to the tools or datasets they mention.

D7.4 Marketplace – Data population & curation

The SSH Open Marketplace is a discovery portal for digital tools, services, and methods in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH), with an emphasis placed on placing these resources in their research context. It is the SSH component of the EOSC Marketplace.

D7.5 Marketplace - Governance

This report aims at describing the governance model for the SSH Open Marketplace, especially in the perspective of its sustainability. A well-thought governance model is required to sustain the various components of this SSH discovery portal: from its technical development and ongoing future maintenance (aggregation and ingestion pipelines, integration of new resources, curation, and editorial components) to its more strategic design through the definition of governing bodies and roles.

D7.6 SSHOC Resources for Marketplace content description

This document presents the results of a survey on existing vocabularies in Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) conducted by Task (T) 7.4 of the Social Sciences and Humanities Open Cloud (SSHOC) project funded by the European Commission under Grant #823782. T7.4 is part of WP7, in charge of creating the SSH Open Marketplace: a discovery portal crafted for the SSH research community, offering contextualised solutions to diverse research enquiries (e.g., tools or services) at every step of a researcher’s data life cycle.

MS42 Marketplace – alpha release

This document reports on the achievement of SSHOC Milestone 42, the alpha release of the SSH Open Marketplace. It explains the role of the first release in the development process of the application as well as the community efforts deployed to ensure the uptake of the SSH Open Marketplace by SSH research communities.

MS43 -Marketplace - beta release

Three different releases of the SSH Open Marketplace are planned during the SSHOC project. The three corresponding milestones (MS42, 43 and 44) ensure the progress and the coherence of the various tasks contributing to the creation of the SSH Open Marketplace. MS 43 “Marketplace - beta release” is the second one and is described as following in SSHOC Grant Agreement: “Marketplace implementing core functionality, deployed in an operational environment, populated with an extended set of data, open to the whole community to use and participate”.
